Inspired by the Latin word for strawberry, "Fragaria," our winery is a celebration of nature, tradition, and the joy of community.

Did you know that strawberries have been cherished in Denmark since the Viking Age? The wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca) was more than just a fruit—it was a symbol of love, purity, and abundance. Celebrated in folklore and midsummer festivals, these delicate berries have long been a source of delight and inspiration.

At Fragaria Winery, we honor this rich heritage by planting 1,000 strawberry plants in our own forest fields. Each plant is nurtured with care, reflecting our commitment to sustainable practices and a deep respect for the land.
